Acneiform Disorders
- Retinoids
- Topical and oral
- Oral retinoids are teratogenic
- Very useful in acne vulgaris; less so in rosacea unless severe
- Benzoyl peroxide
- Useful topically in acne vulgaris
- Antibiotics
- Important treatment in rosacea, acne, and peri-orificial dermatitis
- Antiandrogens
- Useful sometimes, only in females
