Answer and Commentary _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Actinic prurigo is an inherited disorder affecting the native population of North America. The condition may begin in early childhood, although its onset may be in adult life. It is characterized by an intensely pruritic and papular eruption in sun-exposed sites. The lips and nose are often involved and a conjunctivitis has been described. It may resolve in the winter months.
